Round Wire Coil Inductors
Round wire coil (RWC) inductors come in six platform sizes and enable the highest efficiency of any SMT inductor through the use of a low loss ferrite core material which minimizes AC losses and also eliminates thermal ageing. The use of round magnetic wire instead of rectangular flat coils enables a lower cost while still maintaining a low DCR and small footprint. The platforms have passed the AEC-Q200 stress test qualification proving the designs robustness and suitability to difficult environments but the parts are not IATF certified. The platform range from 7.6×7.4×6.4mm to 26x26x15mm and are suitable for a wide range of applications and markets including communications, computing and industrial.

Current Sense Magnetics
Current sense magnetics are used as a low loss method for sensing AC current in a circuit and also provide electrical and safety isolation between the source of the current and the measurement circuit. The key parameters for a current sense transformer are the rms current rating (to ensure it does not overheat in the application) and the safety and voltage isolation (to ensure it conforms to the end-application requirements).

Power Bead Inductors
Power bead inductors are typically used in high current multi-phase voltage regulators that power processors, memory modules and high current ASICs and FPGA in a wide range of applications including servers, graphics cards, storage and data centers. The construction consists of a ferrite core assembled over a 1T or 2T winding and which allows for extremely low DCR, high peak current and low AC losses. Pulse has single phase, integrated phases and coupled inductor versions. Power Transformers
