Flexing Tests: On flexible cables (or cords sets with fitted plugs), electric tools or hand lamps. Meets requirements of standards such as IEC 60335, IEC 60227, IEC 60745 and UL745. This product is for continuous bending tests of cables or cord sets fitted with plugs. The model F39 allows the simultaneous testing of two samples in it's standard version. This not only allows for substantial time savings, but also allows for the testing current circuits to be simplified by looping through the cables.

Versatile - Measures Leakage Current in accordance with UL, CSA, EN, and IEC/ International Standards. Includes ability to perform open neutral, open ground, and line polarity forward/reverse test conditions. Adaptable - Universal rear panel receptacle allows for testing products with any plug configuration. Accurate - True RMS meter accurately measures both sinusoidal and non-sinusoidal waveshapes. This is important when testing products using a switch mode power supply which can generate non-sinusoidal leakage currents. Calibrated, traceable to NIST. Flexible - A front panel switch permits testing either through the power cord of the product under test, from surface/ patient connection-to-ground, or from surface/ patient connection-to-surface/ patient connection. Portable - Lightweight, with integral handle. Other Features - Product Ground Switching (grounding conductor maintained to device under test when not measuring leakage). Automatic front receptacle disconnect when configured in the 240V test mode (prevents inadvertent connection of 120V when configured for 240V operation). Safety advocacy group Kids In Danger (KID) recently announced findings from its annual children’s product hazard report, “A Measure of Safety: Children’s Product Recalls in 2011.” This report examines data and trends in children’s products that have been recalled by the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC). This year, KID found that while children’s product recalls have dropped 24 percent since 2010, injuries and other adverse events associated with these recalls grew by an alarming 7 percent. The group also reported that nursery products were the most-recalled category with 30 percent of children’s recalls, followed by toys at 26 percent
