UHF PD Detector
Handheld online PD substation surveying system. The UHF PD Detector is the ideal tool for quick, non-invasive surveys in MV and HV substations and should be part of the toolkit for all maintenance and service teams. Thumpers and Cable Fault Location
Cable testing can be broken down to different steps of the process, starting with a time domain reflectometer test to look for an incident signal on the line or, in some high resistance situations, VLF testing. These tests will identify a fault, allowing you to move on to pre-locating it. In some low resistance faults this will occur alongside the identification via the TDR.

Dynamic Electric Motor Analyzers
Baker's dynamic motor test and monitoring instruments are built to conduct condition monitoring tests of motors and generators from a Motor Control Centre (MCC), or through a Baker EP1000 connection unit. The Baker EXP4000 dynamic motor analyser is a low-voltage, AC- and battery-operated instrument that test motors and generators while they are in operation. AC Insulation Testing
AC insulation tests are a popular response to the increasingly demanding industrial, power and domestic marketplaces. Insulation materials have had to become more efficient to keep up with demand; more efficient equipment requires less insulation material to meet the minimum acceptable value of insulation resistance. In turn, cables have become smaller and lighter. However, under certain higher stress testing conditions such as DC testing, cables like Crossed Linked Polyethylene (XLPE) can quickly degrade.

Insulation and Continuity Tester
MIT2500
The MIT2500 insulation and continuity tester has been designed for motor and cable testing, specialist applications and electrical testing applications, where operation voltages exceed 1000 V and higher insulation test voltages are needed. The MIT2500 offers both fixed range voltages of 50 V, 100V, 250 V, 500 V, 1000 V and 2500 V, as well as a variable range that allows any voltage between 50 V and 2500 V to be "dialled in". This is supported by the new test voltage feedback control, which maintains the output test voltage to within 2% of the selected range, even when under test.

Primary Injection Test Systems
Primary current injection testing is utilised in high current/high voltage scenarios found at large electrical installations such as substations. A large current (between 100A and 20,000A depending on system specifications and test requirements) is injected directly on the primary side of the electrical system such as a circuit breaker. The objective of the test is to identify how the system operates under various levels of current load.

Oil Tan Delta Test Set
The Oil Tan Delta (OTD) is a laboratory instrument, which measures the Tan Delta, Resistivity and Relative Permittivity of insulating liquids. These tests give a wider picture of the overall quality of the insulating oil, and will indicate if there is any contamination. Megger has developed features of the OTD to ensure that productivity levels within laboratories are maximised. OTD test sets are supplied with sixteen standard test sequences pre-installed, to support a set of international standards.
