Dual Fuel Gauge
1U432-series
The 1U432 dual fuel gauge is packaged as a compact, 3” instrument. It has dual D’Arsonval movements that are driven by two resistive bulb transducers in the fuel tanks. The two opposing pointers stand out sharply from the non-reflective black background.

XYZ Bootstrap Directional Gyroscopes
4000H-series
Sigma Tek's Directional Gyro with heading synchro output provides a cost effective link to "bootstrap" other instruments requiring heading information for: display orientation to aircraft heading, heading stabilization functions, and other navigational calculations and/or solutions. Specific applications include: Argus Moving Map Display®, L-3 Avionics Stormscope®, and Insight Strike Finder®.

Autopilot Attitude Gyroscopes
5000E/L-series
The 5000E air-driven attitude gyro is another variation of our standard 5000B model. It includes inductive pickoffs that generate the signals necessaryto drive an autopilot. The intuitive display has a moving horizon mask that indicates the position of the aircraft’s wings in relation to the natural horizon. This attitude information is passed along to the autopilot system.

5000B-series Attitude Gyroscopes With Warning Flag
This gyro is a variation of our popular 5000B air-driven attitude gyro. It includes a warning flag that drops into view upon the loss of vacuum. This can be a life saving feature during an emergency in a busy cockpit. The horizon mask moves to indicate climb, dive, and bank attitudes, which are portrayed against a fixed airplane. The fluid movements and intuitive presentation provide the pilot with a realistic sense of the aircraft’s attitude in relation to the natural horizon.

Restrained Airspeeds
These airspeed indicators have restrained movements. These instruments are actuated by ram air and ambient atmospheric pressure obtained from the aircraft pitot and static pressure systems. A moveable pointer and a fixed dial indicate airspeed with the zero index at the 12 o’clock position. Temperature compensation is internal and there is no external zero adjustment. Pointer damping is internally adjustable.

Customized Indicator Cluster Gauge Kits
169CL-series
Over the past 40 years, Sigma Tek has custom designed and manufactured reliable, proven instruments for virtually every type of aircraft that flies. This includes precision modular instrumentation configured to customer's exact specifications. Cluster modules measure 1.44" square, and can be arranged in almost any combination for optimum panel utilization. Individual modules are easily removed for calibration and service.

Electric Attitude Gyroscopes
5000EG-series
The 5000EG gyro is based on our air-driven 5000B model, whose proven reliability has made it the industry standard for many years. There are two models available: 14 and 28 VDC. The rotor is precisely machined from a heavy-metal tungsten alloy, which has a higher mass than brass, contributing to the instrument’s demonstrated stability. The electric motor is driven by a built-in power inverter, and has an integrated air-erection mechanism. A warning flag is deployed upon loss of primary power. During acrobatic flights or short stops, the gyro’s mechanism can be caged whenever the knob is pulled.

AC Calibration Standard
1U647-001
The 1U647-001 is a low cost calibration standard used to determine if a 1U632-100 or a 1U663-100 DMU requires factory calibration. Its portability makes it ideal for field-testing. The standard generates signals that simulate the aircraft’s resolvers, rotary variable transformers (RVTs), and linear variable displacement transformers (LVDTs). The unit also generates a pulse width modulated (PWM) signal, and routes the output of an ARINC 429 source to the different DMU input channels. The calibration standard connects directly to the DMU and replaces the output signals of an active extender card. Discrete switch settings simplify testing. The unit is housed in a rugged aluminum case.

Autopilot Directional Gyroscopes
4000C/D-series
The 4000C/D is an air-driven directional gyro with A.C. autopilot pickoffs. Left turns produce clockwise dial rotation and right turns produce counter-clockwise rotation. Two knobs control the gyro. The left knob is used to cage the unit, and the right knob is used to select the instrument’s heading. To change course, the right selector knob is pressed and turned to disengage the dial shaft and set the pointer to a new heading. Releasing the selector knob re-engages the pointer with the dial shaft. As the aircraft turns onto a new course, the pointer returns to its original position. The on-course position of the pointer is always at the top of the azimuth circle (0° on the dial with the aircraft headed north).

4000B ARINC-style Directional Gyroscopes
This instrument was developed for those pilots that prefer the distinct, professional look of an ARINC-styled cockpit. It is identical to the standard 4000B model differing mainly in aesthetics. Besides its distinct bezel and airplane, the display graphics and colors differentiate it from the standard model. A heading reminder bug is available as an option.

Standard Directional Gyroscopes
4000B-series
The 4000B is our standard air-driven directional gyro. As the aircraft turns left or right, gears on the sensing unit and dial shaft translate this rotation into rotation of the instrument’s vertical dial. Left turns produce clockwise dial rotation and right turns produce counter-clockwise rotation. The gyro is controlled by a heading selector knob located on the lower left of the instrument. Pressing and turning the knob first disengages the dial shaft and then resets the dial to a new heading, which results in a new course indication. Releasing the selector knob re-engages the dial shaft. The on-course position of the pointer is always at the top of the azimuth circle (0° on the dial with the aircraft headed north).

Multifunction Engine Gauge
1U378-series
This 3” instrument combines the three essential engine parameters in a compact package. Rugged D’Arsonval meter movements with two jewels are used to indicate cylinder head and oil temperatures. A brass bourdon tube mechanism precisely indicates oil pressure. A selection of fittings is available to simplify installation.

Heading Reference Directional Gyroscopes
4000HR-series
The 4000HR air-driven directional gyro offers some of the best features of our other popular models. It inherited all of the functionality and reliability of the industry standard 4000B upon which it’s based, and it picked up a heading reference bug from the 4000C autopilot model.
