Vibration Unit Tester

We developed the BK2020B as an upgrade to our BK2020 to test the electrical specifications (RPM, current, drop pulse, start up voltage) of your cylindrical or coin type vibration units. You can also test vibration level, noise, isolation resistance, and the DC resistance. The DUT power supply and all measurement components are self contained, so external devices aren't needed and the tester uses DSP, making it capable of fast, highly accurate and reliable measurements. The BK2020B is very versatile. It can be set up as a stand alone machine, or used with a PC and software for access to more information, and to save the data for analysis. Either version is great on the product line but you may also use it for QA, QC and development.

Based on the BK3010V2 C-Mic Tester, the BK9010B is our fastest C-mic test system. Fully automatic, the BK9010B loads the mics in place and after testing, it sorts passing microphones into 8 quality classes, and failing microphones according to the reason they failed. Each mic is put into its appropriate bin. As testing progresses, you can view the data graphically in real time or save it to be viewed or analyzed later.

This would normally be used for either research or for calibration rather than product line testing and is useful because of its extreme stability. It still produces both graphs and numerical data but now will automatically classify both PASSing and FAILing DUT's so you can keep track of quality issues and trends.

The BK3013 runs a uniform SPL sweep to calculate FRF and also runs an SPL sweep that allows you to test the SPL range of your mic. Our "Test Shop" program will show you the results in graphs and allows you to have the computer check specific points in the test.
